I am now officially considered full term! I am so thankful and so blessed to have such a healthy pregnancy. I'm thankful for my baby to make it this far and to know he or she is fully developed at this point and ready for life outside the womb at anytime!!! Baby Growth: Leo is done cookin'! He or she is fully developed and is around 20 inches long and weighs over 7 lbs. Isn't it ironic that the compare the size to a watermelon?!?! Not gonna lie...kinda freaks me out! Looking at this full grown little baby though is exciting :) My Symptoms: My symptoms from last week to this week are completely night and day. It's like someone came and switched my pregnancy with someone else's! I feel SO different!!! Last week I was basically MISERABLE. I had a lot of negative symptoms and didn't know how I'd make it much longer being pregnant. This whole pregnancy I have compared myself to my pregnancy with Kye...and up until this week that has been true. But now?...
2 weeks from today is my due date!!! Maybe this will be my last weekly post??? First thing I want to mention is an update on Mr. Rusty. Thank you to everyone who is praying for him as well as for our family!!! He had his biopsy this morning and we should know the results late next week sometime. The wonderful news is that the Dr said the biopsy went well and that he did NOT SEE any evidence of tumors (which are the obvious signs of cancer). Obviously it could still be prostate cancer but it would be much worse news if he had seen obvious cancer like signs. The pathology reports will give us much more details but we are all feeling a sense of relief because we know that most likely it's not a worst-case-scenerio type news. Please do continue to lift our family up as we wait the report! Also be sure to enter the giveaway going on right now for a FREE Halo SleepSack! A winner will be chosen Sunday :) And if you haven't yet entered the Leo Baby Pool I would HIGHLY su...
Leo can literally arrive any day now ! If y'all haven't made predictions on the exact date, sex, name, and other baby stats be sure to visit Leo's Baby Pool! Also if you plan to meet our baby in person PLEASE read this post to help keep our baby healthy!!! Recently they have changed the terminology so 37 weeks is NOT considered "full term" anymore. I won't be full term until 39 weeks (if I go that far!). While it's a bit frustrating to not be able to say I'm "full term" I totally appreciate the change in the verbiage! You can read more about why they have made the changes (which makes SO MUCH SENSE) here ! I am currently considered "Early Term" :) Baby Growth: Assuming I go to 39 weeks (full term) the baby will be spending these next two weeks growing and maturing his or her brain and lungs! Leo is weighing roughly 6 1/3 pounds and measuring 19 inches (length of a bunch of swiss chard...whatever that is!) Most bab...
