Several years ago we all pitched in for Mother's Day and surprised Mrs Charlotte with family photos, which you can see here. Britt was like 8 months old I think when we had them done. Obviously a ton has changed in 6 years, including adding several grandkids to the family who weren't represented in the family photos! This year for Mother's Day Casey put together having new photos taken as Mrs. Charlotte's combined gift from all of us. Mrs. Charlotte was SO excited to be able to update her mantel picture frame (also another gift we all got her ha!) with updated photos of everyone. She chose for us all to wear navy, gray or white which worked out well because it's colors we all had in our closets! Hope you guys LOVE seeing photos of our family because when we have a new baby we get professional images done pretty often. It's C-RAZY to me that this is our last season of having a baby and having such frequent photos! Back in March we got together with Captured by Colso n for Spear's 3 month photos. These were a combo of Spear's 3 month and Kye's 9th year :) But really every photo session I aim for solo pics of each kid anyway so it doesn't really matter who the "focus" was supposed to be on. Everyone gets a moment in the spotlight! Lindsay had her baby less than a week after taking these pics for us. Girl was PREGNANT! And I appreciate her soooo much for taking the time to do our session. I know at the end of pregnancy you're just so over it but she was in great spirits and still doing her thing (how she got that squat going with that baby belly I'll never know ha!).
I'm so, so appreciative to Lindsay from Captured by Colson for being so flexible with us regarding our newborn session for Spear. With his unknown due date, long stay in Florida and being so close to Christmas it was a lot to work around and she was so understanding and made it happen! I was really excited for these photos! For each of our babies we had a photographer there for the birth (or in Spear's case, when the documents were signed making him part of our family ) and we have photos taken within the first twoish weeks of life then again at 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 18 months, then yearly from then on. It's crazy that Spear will be our last excuse for so many photos ha! We had the photos in our home and my goal was just to be super relaxed and casual.
