Growing up I had a really awesome daily journal where I wrote a bit about each day and it had a place to write goals for the coming year as well as look over the past year and kinda summarize it and see if you met the goals you had set for yourself ( It was very similar to this one...I was just thinking it'd be a great gift for the kids. Maybe as a 10th birthday gift? ) When I started blogging I thought it'd be a nice thing to continue the journal here. Every year I make a list of goals for the year and then at the end of the year I come back and review those goals to see how I did. I haven't read over my 2016 goals list in a hot minute so I have a feeling I did pretty sucky with completing the list during the year. I know I have a plethora of excuses as to why I didn't get 'em done and I'm pretty sure the craziness of 2016 will also change the way I make my goals for 2017. I love goals and while it may seem like I go a little overboard with them, I enjoy the chance to look back over my goals for the previous year and see how I did. Every year I make a list of goals for myself. I've done this for years even long before blogging. I used to enjoy sitting down on Dec 31st and recapping my year and then making my goals for the coming year. This post is VERY much for myself. I love putting my goals into writing and I love going back over them at the end of each year. It's a great opportunity for personal reflection and it helps me to have a fresh perspective for the coming year. This past year I did a LOT of blogging, but am SO behind. Life happens and we had a good bit of things go on that just put me off from being on track.
