Brandi and I recently became friends through both Crissy and Ashley. They all worked together back in the day at Applebees :) She is SUPER sweet and I'm excited about getting to know her better in the future. I have been counting down for her wedding day as I knew it was gonna be awesome. It didn't disappoint! The same Saturday as the Honeybee Festival Kye got up from his nap and we got ready for the wedding. Being close to 8 months pregnant and taking a toddler to a wedding on my own typically wouldn't seem like a good idea...but Daddy was working on that storage shed and I did not want to slow him down! Kye really understood where we were going and kept saying "we're going to a wedding and we have to be quiet when the man is talkin." Such a smartie! The ceremony was in downtown Valdosta, outside, at a location called Benny's Ally. It's a super pretty spot and SUCH a unique idea!!! Kye and I enjoyed the walk and ran into our friends right when...
I've mentioned my leg cramps in some of my weekly pregnancy updates before...I will often wake up in the night with cramping in my calves. Typically it stretch it out and go back to sleep but lately it's become more intense. Monday night we went trick-or-treating and I stayed up late cleaning house. Once I went to bed I was beyond tired. My legs were hurting so bad and Zach has taken up a new hobby (snoring!) so it's difficult for me to go back to sleep once I wake up. I ended up going upstairs to our guest room so I could get some sleep but only ended up sleeping maybe four hours the entire night. Tuesday was my birthday (more to come, someday... ) and I woke up early to get finished cleaning. My legs typically don't hurt during the day, it's only something that bothers me at night. Well not that day! They both still hurt...but especially my right one. It was enough pain where I thought about it constantly. Staying busy helped take my mind off of it, but sitti...
Typically we have plans on the weekends! It's rare for a Saturday to come along where we don't already have something going on. However, Zach started this little storage shed building project back in April. While it's going to be SO NICE and he's done an AMAZING job on it, it is also now October. It's time for it to be finished up...we do have a baby on the way and lots of other things I'd personally liked completed before that happens :) So I have told Zach that I will give him all the time he needs to get it done. I will watch Kye so he can work on it. It's tough on Zach...he works a lot at his job and now all his free time is working on the shed. It's tough on me because while Zach's working, I'm also working - keeping Kye - and I miss the days when he'd get home from work and we'd do 50/50 parenting rather than 100% of it on me. It's also tough on Kye because he can see Zach working in the back yard yet can't play with him...
