Sorry this is so late...it's been a long day! More to come below on what's up! Baby Growth: Blitzen has gained about 4 ounces this week (which is ironic to me...you'll see why when you read my weight gain for the week) and is weighing a little over a pound now. He or she is about a foot long (length of an ear of corn) and is a skinny little thing! Belly Picture: I feel HUGE but boy these pictures don't look it! I guess I need to start looking at pictures of myself more often because maybe I would stop feeling so fat and disgusting - for 6 months pregnant I still look pretty dang good don'tcha think? These pictures also serve as my FIRST maternity clothes wearing! I literally put on the shorts (thanks Kelly!) just to go ahead and wear something maternity...I figured why not and make the 6 month mark the day I bust 'em out? More on that to come! July was a wonderfully fun month and here's a little recap of somethings I didn't get a chance to blog about! Wild Adventures: We've used our season passes enough to make it worth getting them again next year! It's wonderful to have a fun thing to do so close to us! We went just the three of us one Saturday morning and had a great time together. Kye loved touching the snake Zach enjoyed taking turtle porn pictures? haha and Daddy enjoyed taking Kye to the "big kid" splash park! he LOVED it Park: Our neighborhood park has been neglected by us this summer. It's SO hot outside!!! Why would I want to sweat when I can swim in the pool and stay cool instead? I have literally taken Kye on ONE walk this entire summer and we didn't last long as the park as the slides are scorching hot. Now that I'm so close to being caught up I can do a What I'm Lovin' Wednesday post! I love linking up with Jamie and sharing some of the great things happening in my week :) I'm loving the post that the Babywise Mom put up yesterday about raising boys. Our culture tends to say "boys will be boys" and I personally believe we should expect more from our sons. My job as Kye's mom is to raise him up to be a MAN. Not just a functioning member of society but I want more than that for him...I want him to be the type of man that will make Zach and I proud, will lead his wife and family to Heaven, be the husband and father he is called to be, and will follow God's will in his life.
