Tess 9 Month Well Visit

Tess had her 9 month well visit on May 5th. So she was just 6 days past turning 9 months old. I've become quite the pro at these visits ;) I schedule them for as early as possible and for the days I have Britt at home. I think it's good for her to tag along and be a support system for Tess. It also gives her that "big girl" status and I love seeing her in that role with her baby sister! Waiting is better when we're together :) Tess is into everything  now! Teaching her sister God's Word :)  Zach had taken Tess to her 6 month well check up. He showed Britt how to make a balloon out of a glove. So now that's a "must do" at the dr. Thanks Dad ;) The dr office opens at 8:30. Tess naps at 9. I never, ever skip her morning nap so it makes the visits tricky. Every year Jordan's family plays in a golf tournament. This year he asked Zach to play with them. It's in Atlanta and it's over an entire weekend. When we first discussed it we planned to make a weekend out of it for the whole family. I'm home all day every day with my children...it's a HUGE blessing and I'm so thankful for it but it's also my job. And Zach understands that and understands that evenings and weekends are a time where I need those breaks from my job ;) I LOVE family time together and appreciate when Zach is home to help share the parenting responsibilities but also to share in the fun memories together. Zach is really, really good about taking time for himself doing things he enjoys (which I'm working on doing better at for myself!) but he's also good about scheduling those activities for times that won't interfere with family together time.
