Spear turned 4 months old on April 1st! I use What to Expect the First Year to see where he's at in his milestones and development and I purchased his monthly stickers here :) Spear wore Kye's pants from his first Easter for his pics this month! At four months old Spear is doing everything a baby his age should be able to do including: on stomach, lift head up 90 degrees laugh out loud follow an object in an arc about 6 inches above the face for 180 degrees (from one side to the other)
Spear turned 3 months old on March 1st! I use What to Expect the First Year to see where he's at in his milestones and development and I purchased his monthly stickers here :) I also love the little bibs I used for his pics this month... I got those here :) At three months old Spear is doing the only item a baby his age should be able to do and that's lifting his head up 45 degrees when on his stomach. He is also doing everything a 3 month old will probably be able to do including: laughing out loud on stomach, lifting head 90 degrees squeal in delight bring both hands together smile spontaneously follow an object being held 6 inches above his face and being moved 180 degrees (watching the whole way) He can also do all the things a baby his age may possibly be able to do including: hold head steady when upright on stomach, raise chest, supported by arms roll over (one way) grasp a rattle held to backs or tips of fingers pay att...
Spear turned two months old on February 1st! Spear turned one month old on January 1st! For all of my babies I do a monthly post with photos and see where they are with their development and milestones according to What to Expect The First Year. For his monthly milestone stickers I ordered them off Amazon...you can get some here! I have found that not being sure on Spear's due date is a bit tricky for things. I don't know his Wonder Weeks and I'm not sure when to technically consider him a month old based on due date. If his due date was actually Dec 12th then he was 12 days early which can change up knowing if he's hitting milestones on target or not and makes a drastic difference in charting his Wonder Weeks!
Among my most popular posts are the summary ones I write throughout my babies' first years of life. To make it easier to locate these posts, I'm combining them all into one post for quick access! Hopefully this makes it easier to locate posts for people who are wanting to read up on what each of my children were doing at each stage of their first year. Plus it's a fun excuse to put together monthly comparison pics of each of my kids (pics are all in birth order so it's Kye, Britt, then Tess in each!) ;) Kye's 1st year of life was from March 2009-2010, Britt's was from Dec 2011-2012, and Tess's was from July 2014-2015. Keep that in mind as you read through these as recommendations do change with time! During the newborn stages I do a weekly post, and then as they get older I just do a longer monthly one: Week 1: Kye Britt Tess Week 2: Kye Britt Tess Week 3: Kye Britt Tess Week 4: K...
