Spear Summary of Month 5

This post covers Spear's entire 5th month of life which was the full month of April. He was 4 months old during this month!

Spear is 4 Months Old!

Spear turned 4 months old on April 1st!   I use  What to Expect the First Year  to see where he's at in his milestones and development and I purchased  his monthly stickers here  :) Spear wore Kye's pants from his first Easter for his pics this month! At four months old Spear is doing everything a baby his age should be able to do  including:  on stomach, lift head up 90 degrees laugh out loud follow an object in an arc about 6 inches above the face for 180 degrees (from one side to the other)

Spear is 2 Months Old

Spear turned two months old on February 1st! Using What to Expect the First Year I'm going over where he's at with his milestones and development ( I also got his milestone stickers from here! ): At two months old Spear is doing everything a baby his age should be doing  including: smiling in response to my smile respond to a bell in some way such as startling, crying, quieting (Spear startles) He is also doing everything a baby his age will probably be able to do  including: vocalize in ways other than crying (cooing).  lift head at 45 degrees when on tummy He does many of the things that a two month old may even be able to do including: hold head steady while upright on stomach, raise chest supported by arms say "ah-goo" (and he literally says AH-GOO) In the may even be able to category he is not yet: roll over (one way) grasp a rattle held to backs or tips of fingers pay attention to an object as small as a raisin...

Spear is One Month Old

Spear turned one month old on January 1st! For all of my babies I do a monthly post with photos and see where they are with their development and milestones according to What to Expect The First Year.  For his monthly milestone stickers I ordered them off Amazon...you can get some here! I have found that not being sure on Spear's due date is a bit tricky for things. I don't know his Wonder Weeks and I'm not sure when to technically consider him a month old based on due date. If his due date was actually Dec 12th then he was 12 days early which can change up knowing if he's hitting milestones on target or not and makes a drastic difference in charting his Wonder Weeks!

Tess is 24 Months Old!

This month is not only Tess's last month where her age is counted by number of months, it's also her last monthly posts! Tess Summary of Month 24

Whoop whoop! This is Tess's LAST monthly summary! It's a strange feeling to be finishing up with these and not  being pregnant ;)  This summary covers Tess's 24th month of life (July 1st - 30th) and she was 23 months old during this month. From here on out we'll go to monthly summaries like Kye and Britt :)  Eating:  We moved the kids up to the bar area to eat for quicker meals like breakfast and sometimes lunches or dinner if Zach and I aren't eating with them. I cannot believe it took us this long to utilize this space! Makes life SO MUCH EASIER for me to clean up!  I was a tad nervous about the switch for Tess. Our bar is higher up (taller bar stools). But she's done well with it. I put her in a chair with her brother on one side and sister on the other so she can't really go anywhere ;) She's still in her booster and will be for awhile (short girl probs). I actually use TWO boosters right now. One at the bar and one at the kitchen table ...
