Finding Out About #3!

Thursday, December 26, 2013

It was SO exciting announcing our news yesterday to everyone! Thank you for all the sweet well-wishes and congratulations...it's going to be a fun blog topic for sure ;)  Zach and I are very planned when it comes to our babies. This time around we had planned originally to be pregnant sooner. I thought it'd be nice to have a May baby but when Aflac announced the President's Club trip in 2014 will be to Ireland, in April, we decided to wait a bit. It couldn't have been a better decision! This way I'll get to be less pregnant for the big trip and Casey is able to be due before me, which was important to us. It's her FIRST baby. It's a BIG deal (not saying our third isn't  a big deal but I just want Casey and Jordan to soak up ALL the attention they deserve! Plus I wanna be able to help her when the baby comes!).  We had already decided to try to conceive in November but once Casey and Jordan announced their pregnancy at the end of October, the pr...

Emily's Tips for Trying to Conceive

Thursday, May 2, 2013

Don't get all excited! We are NOT currently in the "trying to conceive" process! However, I feel like I've been asked this question a lot lately and figured it was time to write a blog post about it :)  Note : I am NOT any type of "expert" in this field. This is NOT advice for women who are dealing with diagnosed or even undiagnosed fertility issues. I have responded personally to all comments on this post and have also posted a blog entry in response to the comments, you may read that here . From now on any negative comments will be deleted from this post.  Zach and I have been very, very blessed with easy conception experiences. I've known and read about so many women who are not as fortunate as we have been in this department and my heart truly goes...

Trying to Conceive

When people "accidentally" get pregnant it always surprises me! Zach and I are very well planned when it comes to growing our family and take the necessary steps to grow our family when we are ready to grow it. I do believe that if God felt it was time for us to get pregnant we still would and I don't ever think babies are in anyway accidents. Whenever someone tells me they are pregnant by accident the first thing I tell them is when that baby gets here you'll never remember life without it and that you'll always love it and be thankful for it! Pretty soon after we got married Zach was ready to start a family. We talked about it and decided to get our dog, Levi, first. Zach hadn't really grown up experiencing raising a puppy and it REALLY is good training for a baby someday. Puppies are tough work but when you're ready to go out to eat or to a movie you can just stick 'em in their crate...not so true with babies right? ;) Levi was good for us and w...
