Vivid Nightmares

Sunday, August 28, 2011

One of my earliest memories as a child is a nightmare. I'm inside a huge toy store, over-filled with stuffed animals (yes, I was "that girl" who slept with a 1,000 stuffed animals surrounding me at night). My parents and brother left the store and they got locked out when the store closed so I was trapped inside of it. I roamed the aisles and a HUGE stuffed gorilla was hanging from the ceiling above me. I can still see the orange carpet on the store floor and the gorillas eyes as they popped open. He jumped down and began to chase me around the store. It was horrifying for me and it's a reoccurring nightmare I'd have for years. I have always had vivid dreams. If they are good then it can make my whole next day happy as I can easily recall the happiness I felt during the dream. However, when they are bad they tend to stick with me even worse. I have regular vivid nightmares. Some are ones that I have over and over and others I'll only have once. Many times it...

Curly Hair Baby

Sunday, December 7, 2008

Several things to update: First: I took my wedding ring off during night church and my fingers are swollen like crazy! You could see the indention where the ring was! Second: I'm mega uncomfortable. MAJORILY!!! Especially right under my chest. It constantly aches and my back is also starting to hurt (the 6 hour drive thur should be ffffuuuunn) . Third: The baby is moving much much more often and more intensely. I think that soon I'll be able to feel the actual foot b/c the kicks are so hard! I love feeling Clover move though and I know it will be something I'll miss so much once she/he gets here! Forth: A couple days ago I went and visited Javon and Dawn (who did our awesome wedding pictures...and have become our friends!) and their new baby Cade. I had a really good time especially b/c they are really just cool people who are open like I am and I knew I could ask them anything and they'd tell me the truth! haha! Anyways...their son is precious and I dreamed...

Spoke Too Soon...

I thought I wasn't experiencing many pregnancy symptoms but over the past couple of days I've discovered a few more!!! 1. Dreams: I have been having CRAZY dreams. My most common one? That I forget to feed the baby, the baby has a hard time breastfeeding, or just a dream of me breastfeeding in general. I think I have this dream because I'm nervous about breastfeeding and also I think I have it on nights when I'm sleeping in a funky postion that makes my breasts hurt because everytime I have this dream I wake up and they are sore! haha 2. Belly : Still haven't had a stranger notice but the BELLY is HERE! I can no longer see my privates! haha I didn't realize that until I took a bath the other night and saw them for the first time in a looong time and realized that area could use a little help haha I am gaining not just in the belly but all around the belly area. My butt is no longer in existence as my lower back baby gain is one with the booty. My "love...

Baby Dream!

Friday, September 19, 2008

All this talk about baby bedding right before bed may have annoyed me but it did do some good! I had my FIRST dream about our baby last night (well at least the first overall good one!) Of course all this talk about "gay" bedding in case it's a boy made me dream that our baby was a boy! However, I still feel in my gut that it's a girl so I'm not changing my vote over there on that one just yet! It was so cool b/c I could see the baby and it was healthy, perfect and beautiful! It took to breastfeeding right away and it wasn't as hard or painful or annoying as I had thought it would be. The whole thing was so nice, just holding "him" and feeding him and comforting him and even changing him! Now, I have never my whole life had normal sweet dreams. Even good dreams turn bad at some point for me and this one did too. I was shopping with Mrs. Charlotte, Courtney, Colt and my baby and I went into a dressing room to feed "him" and this cree...
