Since Zach and I were on our romantic Disney trip the first true week of summer we're kicking off our first official family week of summer the week after we got back: May 31st - June 9th! (Yes, it's longer than a single week ha! I just combined the days we got back with the week following) If you're new around here I typically do a monthly summary post year-round of all of our family fun as well as an individual monthly summary post for each kid. In the summer though? I stick to a weekly post that covers EVERYTHING from that week!
Sorry I've been a tad MIA. But Prime Day has taken over my WORLD! Ha! If you haven't been following my finds be sure to check out this post here :) Yall know I LOVE some Disney movies and having a movie theme day with my kids is something I enjoy putting together and something our whole family enjoys participating in. To kick off summer this year I did an Aladdin themed morning for the girls!
All moms have their "things." The things that their children will remember into adulthood. The ones that they'll want to carry on doing with their children and each time they do they will fondly remember their own mother doing them. My thing? It's Disney. My kids know I LOVE Disney and they love it too! It's something we share and enjoy as a family and something I know they'll always carry with them long after I leave this earth. One way I've really incorporated our love for all things Disney into our routine is to have themed movie nights (or afternoons!) revolved around our favorite Disney movies.
This was a CRAZY busy week of summer for us! Our current week has been super, super chill so I feel less guilt over the chill week when I look back on this week haha. Week 4 covers Sat June 3rd through Friday the 9th! Saturday morning Lakeland finished out their VBS that had started the night prior. I opted not to attend. After getting back from Mexico and having been SO crazy busy, I just needed to get my house in order and my stuff fully unpacked and just de-stress. It was SUCH a perfect morning to do that and Zach took the kids to VBS and they all had a great time! I'm in LOVE with our robot vacuum! It's seriously amazing!!! They made super cute necklaces at VBS and were proud to show 'em off when they got home.
