I love how she says " We need to help our children learn how to respond to emotions correctly. This is why we discipline for attitude. The emotion is not the problem, it is our response to the emotion that is the problem." Isn't that so true? It is a tough lesson to teach and I'm thankful Valerie wrote such an insightful post about correcting attitude and the WHY behind it. One thing I'm sad about now that we are switching where we stay for our annual St Augustine trip...is that we won't do our annual boat pics anymore! Each year we go down to the marina and check out the boats and take some pictures :) It's another little beach tradition that I love! Maybe if our new place is closer to the actual beach we can switch it up from boat pics to beach ones ;) You can look back at our boat pics through the years: 2013 , 2012 , 2011 I cannot believe how much he's grown and changed since our first time taking pics by the boats! And how funny that both our first and last year doing these that Kye wore a blue anchor shirt ;) 2014 2011 My sweet girl! Prayer Request: Before starting off my weekly pregnancy post...I do want to ask for prayers for our family. Mr. Rusty (Zach's dad) has been having PSA levels that are higher than the normal range. They are at the point now in the process where a biopsy is the next step. He will be having it in a couple weeks so we can have a better idea of what exactly is going on. Of course we are all worried and trying our best to not let those concerns and list of "what ifs" fill our minds. I have always said that the waiting game is SO HARD and it really is! Please pray for Mr. Rusty and that everything with his biopsy will come back fine and that this is just a minor issue with a simple solution. Also pray for our family that we can continue to remain positive and just trust in the Lord's plan whatever that may be!
